The Satellite Student Regional Symposium on Electrochemistry (SSRSE) will traditionally be held the day before the beginning of RSE SEE 9. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Novi Sad. This one-day conference is intended for bachelor's and master's students and students who have just started their doctoral studies in electrochemistry and electrochemical engineering.

There is no registration fee for participation in the symposium. Participants should REGISTER and submit a one-page abstract of their 20-minute oral presentation by May 8, 2024

SSRSE is a unique opportunity for young scientists to present the results of their research at the international level, exchange experience and knowledge with colleagues, primarily from the region, but also to gain experience in public speaking.

We encourage students to apply and enhance the conference with their valuable contributions.

Please use only the following TEMPLATE to prepare your abstract.

Milica Gvozdenović graduated in 1997, obtained a master's degree in 2001, and completed Ph.D. in 2007 at the Department of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. From 1997 to 1998, she worked as a research and development engineer at the Institute for Chemical Power Sources. Since 1998, she has been employed at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, where she was appointed as a full professor in 2018. She is involved in teaching various courses at all levels of study, including Physical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry 1, Physical Chemistry 2, Electrochemical Technologies at the undergraduate level, Electrochemical Biosensors, and Conductive Polymers at the master's and Ph.D. levels in electrochemical engineering. She co-authored a textbook “Electrochemical Biosensors” used in the courses she teaches. She is also the author of a monograph “Conducting Polymers” and co-authored three chapters in international monographs. Milica Gvozdenović has co-authored 60 research papers in internationally recognized journals (Scopus Author ID: 6506768814). Her research focuses on the electrochemical aspects of conducting polymers, including synthesis and characterization, electrochemical systems for energy storage, corrosion, enzymatic biosensors, etc. She is also involved in the academic community, holding positions on the Steering Board of the Institute of Chemistry Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, and the Commission of Standards and similar Documents KS C107, at the Institute for Standardization of Serbia.
